His history in RPG follows the main DMC timeline. The sight of the amulet caused him great anguish even when corrupted as Nelo Angelo. His failure may also have made him forsake close human relationships, due to his perceived fragility of humanity. It may also imply that Vergil seeks power as compensation for failing to protect her. This may be a reference to their mother's death. In Devil May Cry 3, Vergil seems to reveal some of his feelings by claiming to Dante: "Might controls everything, and without strength you cannot protect anything, let alone yourself.". Despite this, he cherishes certain things in his life: the sword Yamato, a katana left to him as a keepsake by his father, his own half of the Perfect Amulet, a keepsake from his mother and, after his own realization, his own son Nero. While Dante seeks to protect humanity from the demons, Vergil wants to obtain more power, regardless of the consequences for those around him. In contrast to Dante, Vergil embraces his demonic heritage, and seeks to emulate his father's power. This was seen in Devil May Cry 3 where he teamed up with Dante. If faced with an opponent he would need a partner to defeat, he will join forces with said partner despite having reservations. As seen in Devil May Cry 5, he forcibly ripped off Nero's Devil Bringer to reobtain Yamato, still bearing influences of his time as Nelo Angelo. In dire situations, he is not above actions that would seem desperate or those that would contradict his views. In Devil May Cry 5, Vergil refused to fight Dante when the latter was injured and tired from his last fight against Urizen, saying that defeating him in such a state has no meaning, preferring to face a fresh and healed Dante. This code of honour is still present while he is corrupted as Nelo Angelo as he refuses to attack Dante from behind and faces him directly. He also refuses to use firearms and wields only his blade (Yamato) as well as other melee weapons he managed to obtain from defeated enemies. However, he is an honourable warrior who maintains his own set of morals and disciplines and this is evident with his dislike toward dirty and cheap tactics. Vergil cares little for the well-being of those around him, and is unflinching in his pursuit of power and thus bears a cold and ruthless demeanour. Players who assumed that this game was cool enough as is certainly didn't try out the following mods, that elevated the coolness factor of this title to new heights.Contrasting with his twin brother Dante's boisterous, outgoing, and extroverted personality, Vergil is calm, cool, collected, and introverted, constantly maintaining an aura of fearlessness. Updated on May 31, 2021, by Ritwik Mitra: The expectations for Devil May Cry 5 were through the roof, and fans could breathe a sigh of relief upon the game's release when the latest chapter in Dante's story ended up doing justice by its predecessors, if not surpassing them outright due to a wealth of new additions when it came to the combat system. Since the focus in Devil May Cry is always to make things as stylish as possible, it’s worth checking out the coolest mods available for the game. Still, it doesn’t feel out of place in any way due to the franchise’s status as a crazy gameplay experience. RELATED: 5 Things Devil May Cry Did Better Than Resident Evil (& Vice Versa) Due to the linear style of the game, most mods have to do with changing characters’ skins or enhancing abilities to ridiculous levels. And yet, Devil May Cry 5 has seen its fair share of mods that change the gameplay in so many ways. There was a time when mods were used solely for open-world games.
